  1. Items relating to the official announcement of various categories of personal information and their purpose of use 
    The various categories of personal information retained by Japan Market Resource Network (JMRN) and the purposes of use for such information are described below.  The personal information marked with an asterisk (*) denotes personal information targeted for disclosure.     
    (Note 1) for which requests to JMRN for the notification of the purpose of use, disclosure, corrections of content, additions or deletions, suspension of use, erasures and suspension of release to third parties are accepted.

Personal information targeted for disclosure at JMRN refers to the personal information that JMRN must protect in accordance with the Private Information Protection Law and JIS Q15001.

For contacting when necessary for human resource management tasks for retired employees established by law, and for maintaining friendly relationships, etc.

For business-related contact to client companies and to the supervisor at the companies JMRN cooperates with.

    For requests for the notification of the purpose of use, disclosure, corrections of content, additions or deletions, suspension of use, erasures and suspension of release to third parties as well as for complaints and consultations regarding personal information, please contact the Point of Contact for Personal Information Inquiries [    privacy@jmrn.com Tel: 03-5464-1990 (weekdays 9:00-18:00)]. Contact to other divisions within JMRN cannot be accepted.  Please understand that JMRN will be unable to respond to requests for the notification of the purpose of use of personal information, disclosure, corrections of content, additions or deletions, suspension of use, erasures and suspension of release to third parties in the case that the request does not apply to JMRN's retained personal information, in the case that for some other legal reason personal information cannot be disclosed or in the case that the storage period for the personal information has elapsed.

    To make a request for the disclosure, etc. of personal information, please download the “Application for Personal Information Inquiries” here and, after completing the required items, send it to the Point of Contact for Personal Information Inquiries along with the identification material explained below.  Please understand that JMRN is unable to respond to disclosure requests made in person at our office.

iii) Information that allows for the specification of the disclosure request

As identification material, please send a copy of any of the following (within the period of validity): driver's license (back side is necessary if the address has been changed), passport, health insurance card (both the name and the address).

In the case that the request is made by a proxy other than the individual, whether a legal representative or someone assigned the authority of proxy, please attach documentation that certifies the right to represent the individual as well as the identification documents of the proxy, after reviewing the “Case of Application by Proxy” below.

When JMRN retains personal information that has received a request for the notification of the purpose of use of personal information, disclosure, corrections of content, additions or deletions, suspension of use, erasures and suspension of release to third parties, it shall, based on the “Application for Personal Information Inquiries” and the attached documents, verify the identity of the individual and then promptly answer requests for the notification of the purpose of use of personal information, etc. through certified mail.  In the case that JMRN has not retained the applicable personal information, in the case that for some other legal reason personal information cannot be disclosed or in the case that the storage period for the personal information has elapsed, JMRN shall promptly send notification of that through certified mail.

JMRN shall handle the acquired personal information for which a request for the notification of the purpose of use of the personal information, etc. has been made only within the scope necessary to respond to the request for notification of the purpose of use of the personal information, etc.  JMRN shall store the personal information for one year after the response to the request for the notification of the purpose of use of the personal information, etc. has been completed; after that, it will be discarded.
